Mon, Sep 1 Labor Day – No classes
Tue, Sep 2 Last day to file petitions for course credit by examination (undergraduate students only)
Mon, Sep 8 Tenth day of classes. Courses dropped after this date will have a “W” for withdrawal recorded on the academic record. Last day to add or drop courses without additional signatures.
Mon, Sep 15 Last day for students to make up Incomplete or Absence grades (continuing undergraduate students only)
Tue, Sep 16-Mon, Sep 22 Examinations for course credit by examination (undergraduate students only)
Fri, Sep 19 Deadline to apply for graduation and to submit Final Plan of Study (Undergraduate, Master’s, Sixth-Year, and Graduate Certificate students only) for conferral of a Fall 2025 degree
Tue, Sep 23 Dean’s signature required to add courses
Mon, Sep 29-Fri, Oct 17 Mid-semester grading period
Mon, Oct 20 Registration for the Winter 2026 and Spring 2026 semester via Student Administration System begins
Mon, Nov 10 Last day to withdraw from a course. Last day to place courses on or remove from Pass/Fail grading.
Sun, Nov 23-Sat, Nov 29 Thanksgiving Recess
Fri, Nov 28 Last day for Master's and Doctoral degree candidates to upload final Master's thesis or Doctoral dissertation to the university-supported repository and submit related paperwork to Degree Audit (degreeaudit@uconn.edu) for conferral of a Fall 2025 degree.
Fri, Dec 5 Last day of fall semester classes
Sat, Dec 6-Sun, Dec 7 Reading Days
Mon, Dec 8 Final examinations begin

Sun, Dec 14 Conferral date for Fall 2025 degrees. Final examinations for Plan B Master’s and Sixth-Year Certificate students must be completed by this date.

Fri, Dec 26 Last day for Degree Audit (degreeaudit@uconn.edu) to receive the approved Plan B Master’s and Sixth-Year Certificate Report on the Final Exam form. (Graduate students only)
