The multidisciplinary One Health minor examines the interconnectedness between animal, human, plant, and environmental health by immersing students in coursework related to environmental health and ecosystem management, interdisciplinary approaches to disease dynamics and control, and sustainable agriculture, plant health, and food safety.
Requirements
Students must complete at least 18 credits, including PATH 1100E One Health: People, Animals, Plants, and the Environment. Students must take two courses from each theme. One course may overlap in two themes. At least 12 of the credits taken to satisfy the minor must be from courses that are not required for the student’s major or other minors within the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources. No more than six credits from any one subject area can count toward the minor.
