Corporate and Regulatory Compliance (Graduate Certificate)
This certificate is designed for business and law professionals who are interested in careers in compliance, ethics, internal monitoring, regulatory affairs, and related areas. Students must complete 12 credits.
The program is based at both the UConn School of Business' Graduate Business Learning Center (GBLC) in Hartford and the UConn School of Law in Hartford.
BLAW 5175 Business, Law, and Ethics in Modern Society, required for MBA and post-baccalaureate certificate students, is offered in-person at the GBLC in alternating fall and spring semesters. It is also offered online (either synchronously or asynchronously) every fall, spring, and summer.
Other BLAW electives are offered online (either synchronously or asynchronously) with varied offerings every fall, spring, summer, and some Winter Intersessions.
For current JD and JD-degree holders, Business electives (ACCT, FNCE, MENT, MKTG, and OPIM) are offered in-person at the GBLC in alternating fall and spring semesters. They are also offered online (either synchronously or asynchronously) every fall, spring, and summer.
LAW courses are offered through the UConn School of Law in Hartford. The core law course in the program, LAW 7554 Compliance: The Legal Perspective, is offered in both in-person and asynchronous online formats (but only in the fall semester). For the remainder of law courses in the program, the majority are in-person, with a limited selection of synchronous online electives. Some in-person courses may allow synchronous remote participation when possible.
