Admission Requirements and Course of Study1
There are no formalized application requirements for this certificate, though submission of the Certificate Participation form should be filed with the Registrar’s Office upon commencement of certificate course work. The certificate in Corporate and Regulatory Compliance requires course work at both the School of Law and the School of Business at the University's downtown Hartford campus. JD Candidates are strongly encouraged to take either LAW 7605 Business Organizations or LAW 7600 Administrative Law prior to embarking on the certificate.
This certificate is offered in collaboration with the University of Connecticut School of Business.
Requirements
The certificate requires successful completion of twelve (12) credits, including one required course and nine additional credits in electives. Among the electives, students are strongly encouraged to take BLAW 5254 Social Responsibility and Accountability in Business at the School of Business.
