The minor is offered by the Literatures, Cultures, and Languages Department.

Requirements

The minor in French and Francophone studies consists of a minimum of five courses (15 semester credit hours) at the 3000 level in French. The five courses must include at least one of the following foundation courses:

Study abroad in our Paris program or our Toulouse summer program is highly recommended. Up to six credits (or up to nine with special permission) towards the minor may be earned abroad.
