Tue, Sep 8 Last day to file petitions for course credit by examination (undergraduate students only)
Mon, Sep 14 Tenth day of classes. Courses dropped after this date will have a “W” for withdrawal recorded on the academic record. Last day to add or drop courses without additional signatures.
Mon, Sep 21 Last day for students to make up Incomplete or Absence grades (continuing undergraduate students only)
Tue, Sep 22-Mon, Sep 28 Examinations for course credit by examination (undergraduate students only)
Fri, Sep 25 Deadline to apply for graduation and to submit Final Plan of Study (Undergraduate, Master’s, Sixth-Year, and Graduate Certificate students only) for conferral of a Fall 2026 degree
Tue, Sep 29 Dean’s signature required to add courses
Mon, Oct 5-Fri, Oct 23 Mid-semester grading period
Mon, Oct 26 Registration for the Winter 2027 and Spring 2027 semester via Student Administration System begins
Mon, Nov 16 Last day to withdraw from a course. Last day to place courses on or remove from Pass/Fail grading.
Sun, Nov 22-Sat, Nov 28 Thanksgiving Recess
Fri, Dec 4 Last day for Master's and Doctoral degree candidates to upload final Master's thesis or Doctoral dissertation to the university-supported repository and submit related paperwork to Degree Audit (degreeaudit@uconn.edu) for conferral of a Fall 2026 degree.
Fri, Dec 11 Last day of fall semester classes
