- A W or Q course may be substituted for the same numbered course.
- Cross-listed courses that are listed under multiple subdivisions may only be used to fulfill one subdivision.
- POLS 2995 Special Topics in Political Issues, POLS 2998 Variable Topics in Contemporary Political Issues/W and POLS 3995 Special Topics sections apply to the minor and may count towards B1. The subdivisions that these sections are assigned to can be found on the Department of Political Science’s website.
- POLS 2996 Directed Research I, POLS 3991 Supervised Field Work, POLS 3993 Foreign Study, POLS 3996 Directed Research II, POLS 3999 Independent Study, POLS 4894 Political Science Colloquium, POLS 4994 Senior Seminar, and POLS 4997W Senior Thesis may not be counted towards the minor.
- Completion of a minor requires that a student earn a C (2.0) grade or better in each of the required courses for that minor.
- Substitutions are not allowed. Transfer credits will only be counted if approved by the CLAS Academic Services Center.
The minor is offered by the Political Science Department.
