This interdisciplinary minor provides students with current information about ASL and the people for whom it is a primary language, the Deaf community in the U.S.
Prerequisite
ASLN 1101 Elementary American Sign Language I and ASLN 1102 Elementary American Sign Language II or equivalent are required but do not count toward the total credits required for the minor.
Requirements
15 credits of 2000-level or above coursework is required. Students enrolled in this minor must complete at least 15 credits, of which 12 must be from group A. All 15 credits may be satisfied from Group A.
