PUBH 3001. Introduction to Epidemiology. (3 Credits)
Provides overview of epidemiological concepts and methods for examining the distribution and causes of health and illness across populations. Stresses the application of epidemiology in advancing health research, disease prevention efforts, and medical care delivery. Primarily suited for, but not limited to, juniors and seniors interested in public health.
PUBH 3303. Disability Law, Policy, Ethics, and Advocacy. (3 Credits)
(Also offered as AH 3303.) Aspects of public policy and social issues that affect the lives of persons with disabilities and their families, including federal legislation, discrimination in employment, the principles of self-determination, self-advocates' roles in planning and implementing policy, and bioethical issues surrounding life and death decisions.
