Chemistry Minor

Chemistry

Students taking this minor must take at least 15 credits of 2000-level or above Chemistry courses.

The following courses are required: CHEM 2443, 2444, and 2445*; CHEM 3332.

*CHEM 2446 may be used in place of CHEM 2445 by Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering majors only.

Further, students must take one course from the following list: CHEM 3210, 3334, 3442W, 3563, 3661.

The minor is offered by the Chemistry Department.

Minor Requirements

While this site outlines the current requirements to satisfy active minors, the Office of the Registrar strongly urges students to work closely with their academic advisors to ensure that they meet all graduation requirements.

Students can review their progress toward satisfying requirements by viewing their Academic Requirements Report in the Student Administration System. What-if Advisement Reports allow students to see how their coursework would fit into another program or plan.

Catalog year

Undergraduate students are bound only by those requirements published in the catalog in effect the year they entered the university. To see requirements from previous catalog years, see Past Catalogs. Students may also request to change their catalog year by submitting the appropriate form to the Office of the Registrar
