The Diversity Science Certificate is offered by the Department of Psychological Sciences and aims to facilitate student learning and engagement with diversity science in the field of psychology and beyond. After completing this certificate, students will be prepared to engage with an increasingly diverse society, apply a critical equity-minded lens to their own research, and to discuss and consider social dynamics related to diversity as they progress in academia and beyond. Plans of study for the certificate, including substituting electives and whether or not to complete a research project for the certificate, must be approved in advance by the certificate director. 

Students must complete 12 credits.
