Prerequisites: MATH 1121 or 1126, either of which may be taken concurrently, or MATH 1131 or MATH 1151. Not open to students who have passed PHYS 1230, 1401, 1402, 1501, 1502, 1601 or 1602.

Survey of the principles of physics and their application to the pharmaceutical sciences. Basic concepts of calculus are used. Examples from mechanics, electricity and magnetism, thermodynamics, fluids, waves, and atomic and nuclear physics. SM-4/28/08
