Prerequisites: CHEM 1122, 1124Q, or 1127Q; BIOL 1107; open only to Nursing majors; open to sophomores and higher; Corequisite: PNB 2264 or 2274; Cannot be taken for credit after passing NURS 3101 or NURS 207.

Grading Basis: Graded

Critical examination of concepts from pathophysiology, pharmacology and nutrition as they apply to preventive health care of adults. Introduction of knowledge, skill and attitude of basic math competency for medication administration.
