3102. Early and Middle Childhood Development

Prerequisites: HDFS 2100 or PSYC 2400; HDFS 2004 or NURS 3205 or PSYC 2100 or SOCI 3201, which may be taken concurrently; open to juniors or higher. Cannot be taken for credit after passing HDFS 4181.

Grading Basis: Graded

Study of children ages 3-8 years from an integrated human development perspective that focuses on the interdependence of physical growth and cognitive, emotional, and social development.
