The minor will provide an overview of marketing, management, and financial principles and concepts in agribusiness. Analytical and applied decision-making skills are emphasized.
All students are required to complete 15 credits from the following courses:
- ARE 3210, 3215, 3221, 3222, 3225, 3260, 4217, 4275, 4279, 4464;
- HORT 3540;
- ANSC 3452, or 4662W;
- any 3000-level or above ARE course, if approved by minor advisor.
Note: ARE 1150 may be required for some 3000-level or above Agricultural and Resource Economic courses. Other courses listed may have additional prerequisites as well.
Students must earn a combined grade point average of 2.5 or higher for all courses listed above. This minor is not open to Resource Economics majors who are concentrating in Marketing and Business Management.
